Indigive Foundation started its operations in the field of Health and Nutrition and soon faced the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Backed by its leaders and a strong philosophy of impact-oriented change, the organisation engaged its functions to enable and assist vulnerable families during the lockdown and rose to the challenge. The organisation decided to include Disaster and Epidemic Response as one of its key areas of operations so as to prevent, prepare for, and minimise the loss from any social tragedies of these kinds.
Learnings and experiences from the work done during the pandemic shaped its philosophy and prompted the organisation to also direct its attention towards issues like hunger and the ill treatment of senior citizens in society, which led to the inception of Hunger Alleviation and Eldercare Programs. The organisation aims to rapidly expand its capacities and operational bandwidth by focusing on creating and delivering impact-oriented local models of change and transformation.
